Best Robot Vacuums and Mop Systems
This robot vacuum-mop is a good option for people who live in flats as it carries the rubbish away in its own bin, and also uses a smaller docking station. The app allows you to select different modes and monitor cleaning as well as the mopping function is impressive.
Its obstacle avoidance and mapping are impressive, and it is able to mops extremely well cleaning up pet hair, spills and dirt. It also self-empties, cleans itself, and refills its tank.
iRobot Roomba Combination
The iRobot Combo is a robot that is able to mop and vacuum. It's not quite enough to take the place of our current Editors' Choice, the Deebot X1 Omni, which is more efficient and has an app for mobile that is simpler to use, but it does make an excellent alternative. In our tests it was consistently able to remove dirt of all kinds and sizes from carpets and hard floors. Its obstacle avoidance may not be as advanced as other systems such as LiDAR and structured light, but it still can prevent collisions in the majority of cases.
The Combo features most of the same features as the j7 Plus, including new acoustic sensors onboard to determine the floor's type and AI-powered navigation. However, it isn't able to set suction power manually. It's also slightly less compact than the version that uses vacuum, and doesn't come with self-emptying docks.
The Combo is one of my favorite options for most homes. Its sleek design is also among the best I've seen in the market. The matte black finish is more sophisticated than the metallic or glossy finishes of the majority of competitors. iRobot also adds some more elegant features, such as the leather tab to open the bin on board and a shelf that can hold bags in the dock. The iRobot Combo makes it simple to create maps and establish Keep-Out Zones.
Roborock
While Roborock is relatively new to the robot vacuum and mop industry however, it has already earned its mark thanks to a suite of innovative cleaning technologies. The vacuums are renowned for their suction power, while the brand's mopping systems feature vibrating mops that scrub floors to remove dirt. Plus, a wide range of scheduling and mapping options lets you adjust the bot's cleaning schedule for your particular home.

Another amazing Roborock feature is obstacle avoidance, which lets the robot detect objects smaller than its height. This is particularly beneficial for Roborock's top models, such as the Qrevo Master. It is the best of its kind when it comes to navigation, thanks to both vSLAM, and LiDAR. Other robovacs are known to run over pet faeces and slam furniture, without even noticing. The Qrevo Master however, addresses this issue with a Reactive Artificial Intelligence system which makes use of dual cameras to detect the objects within a room.
Roborock robots come with a range of convenience features to cut down on maintenance. They include docks that are auto-emptied and mop-washing stations with multiple functions. These make it easier to manually empty dustbins and wash mops, making for an experience that is completely hands-free. Additionally the app's simple design and lag-free connection to the robot make it simple to use.
Hobot Legee D8
With a variety of integrated cleaning modes and advanced mopping features the Hobot Legee is among the best robot vacuums/mops for wet and dry floors. Its advanced navigation system integrates 5 technologies to plan and create a route that is the most efficient. It can also identify various flooring materials and recognize obstacles with precision. It can lift itself up to 7mm in order to glide over carpets. The smart spray system uses the right amount of water to get rid of stains without leaving unsightly water marks.
The Legee is the Gen 4 Robot, competes directly with the Eufy Robovac X9 or Ecovacs Deebot T20. Both models cost more. It has more features, including a flexible D-shaped robot that can clean corners and under cabinets more efficiently than a round one. Its sensors include 360deg 3D (Lidar, Encoder, Gyro, and E-compass) four forward-facing sensors, one right-side-facing FDS (IR ToF sensors for distance) and two pairs of cliff detectors in the front and back (most robots have only one pair). It also includes Legee SLAM to help reduce the bump-andgrind issues that cause problems for Gen 4 robots.
Unlike most other robots, unlike other robots, the Legee features an integrated trash compactor that can use the less raunchy 5 GHz Wi-Fi band. The LuLu mop cleaner station cleans, refills and dries the mop cloth. This means that you can use it up to six times longer than other mops. It also reduces waste and the frequency with which bins are emptied.
Karcher RCV 5
Karcher is known for its gardening tools and pressure washers has been experimenting with robot vacuums for a long time. This is the most technologically advanced model from the company. Based on LiDAR technology, it creates maps of your home that can be programmed to vacuum or mop. It can also detect the difference between hard floors and carpets, so that you don't end up with water puddles on your precious pile.
Its navigation is superb and it can navigate around furniture or rugs with ease. It can also lift itself over steps. The robot can be customised by adjusting a range of settings, including cleaning schedules and which rooms it is required to clean. It also comes with an emergency button that will make the robot return to the base when it is running out of power, and it can be programmed to automatically shut off when the weather is forecast to be stormy.
The RCV 5 is very easy to use and, despite being heavy, at around 4kg, you won't experience difficulty moving it around furniture. Safety features such as sensors that warn it to stay clear of stairs will be appreciated by parents with small children. Once fully charged it takes only several hours to fully charge and the two buttons at the top will turn green to indicate it is ready for action.
Mova E30 Ultra
The Mova E30 Ultra robot vacuum cleaner is a machine that balances advanced technology with affordable. It's a contender to models like the Dreame L10 Ultra or Roborock's most popular Q Revo. The Mova E30 Ultra is a less expensive model, but it comes with features that are not found in other models. It uses sensors to adjust its settings for different surfaces and floors, as well as detect areas that are less clean and ensure they are given enough attention. It can also move at slow speeds to avoid damage to furniture and walls.
You can also view the map of your home within the app. You can also mark certain rooms and objects you would like to keep out of the way. The vacuum will slow down if it spots an obstruction, and avoid getting into it. automatic hoover has a an intelligent dustbin that will notify you when it's full, so that you can empty it before you need to.
The Mova E30 Ultra is an affordable option for anyone looking to delegate the chores of daily cleaning. It doubles as mop and robot vacuum which allows you to keep your floors clean without having to lift a finger. It is designed with a clever layout that improves cleaning at corners by up to 60%. It comes with a suction capacity of up to 7,000 Pa and a RoboSwing arm, and can be controlled via the app or voice assistants like Alexa or Siri.
Beko RCV3
The Beko RCV3 is a stylish and feature-packed hybrid robot vac/mop that does an excellent job of keeping floors spick and span. It can't lift its mop to clean carpets and rugs as well as the Roborock S8 MaxV ultra, however, it is extremely effective in cleaning hard floors. It has a self emptying bin, a high level of suction, an array of mopping options, and a high-quality application that runs on iOS and Android.
It's a little smaller than most of the competitors and its main brush is smaller than most but it still managed to make short work of our test area easily. The revolving edge brush on the side is a great addition. Although it wasn't able to remove dirt as effectively as other competitors, it did a good job.
The robot can be programmed to have individual cleaning parameters for each room. It can then create detailed maps using LiDAR's built-in navigation. The application is simple to use and provides a variety of options for voice output that can keep you informed about the progress of your robot. Regular software updates help improve and enhance the capabilities. The app can also be used to remotely manage the RCV3 when you're not at home.
